I am Nina and I love to work with crystals and metal wire. I am advocate for ethical and fair trade crystals, read more about this om my ethical jewelry page.
Designing jewelry with metal wire started when I was living in a campervan in Australia, which is btw my other passion; travelling! I love adventure and have spend a big part of my life learning about culture while discovering parts of the world.
When I moved back to The Netherlands I took both passions with me. I have an atelier in Amsterdam and still live a camper lifestyle together with Gaia, a 14 year old adopted poodle.
At important moments of my life, peacocks started to show up. Most of those moments have let me to where I am today and thats one of the many reasons why I chose the name The Proud Peacock. In my opinion, we should be more proud on what we accomplish in life, feel it, share it & celebrate it.. especially the little things, confidence is not arrogance!
