Essential oils are great to use on Lava stones, just drop a a little bit on the back of the stone and let it soak in. Amazing as a perfume diffuser and so nice to have around when you have been dancing in the sun on a festival and want to smell a fresh scent.
Mix 1-2 drops of essential oil straight on the stone or mix 50/50 with a neutral oil (coconut, almond, avocado) to avoid skin irritation. Make sure the oil can soak in to your Lava Stone Pendant at least one minute before you put it on and use 100% natural oils and no synthetics.
My personal favourites:
– tea tree; antibacterial and refreshing
– Pine; reminds me to the forrest
– Orange; reducing stress and enhances my happy feelings!
The oils have a different effect on everyone and it’s so nice to explore them all! What to look for when you want to find yourself an essential oil?
• Check the label: the purity of the oil, what else is added and in which country the plant was grown;
• Choose dark coloured glass, the high concentrated oils will dissolve plastic. To maintain quality the oils are best stored in dark blue/brown bottles;
• Avoid fragrance oils these contain chemicals and aren’t suitable for diffusing via Lava stone.
Never ingest essential oils, they are highly concentrated and can be toxic!
This pendant is made with Brass, always be careful with water wearing this pendant.
Every crystal is cleansed before send to their new owner. You can always charge your crystal in the moonlight, research before charging in the sun it can damage the stone.
The pendant comes standard without a chain.
